Association of Christian Counsellors (ACC)

The Association provides a nationwide umbrella organisation of standards for Christian counselling and care.

 

British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)

The Association was established for counsellors and psychotherapists wishing to belong to a united
profession that could meet the commonality of interests for both counselling and psychotherapy.

 

Care Centres Network

CARE is a well-established mainstream Christian charity providing resources and helping to bring Christian
insight and experience to matters of public policy and practical caring initiatives.

A registered charity based in Lurgan who have set up a new website for young people suffering from eating disorders, offering online support, information and a telephone helpline service.

CareConfidential

CareConfidential is concerned about the welfare of women and their partners in relation to pregnancy
and pregnancy loss, including abortion.

 

Carelink UK

Careline provides a range of safe, non-judgemental counselling services that helps those in acute
emotional distress lead a useful and ‘normal’ life, putting their emotional turmoil behind them.

 

CURA

CURA is a voluntary organisation, which offers support and help to those who are faced with a crisis
pregnancy.

 

LIFE

LIFE provides help and support to thousands of women and men each year. Their core services are Caring,
Education, Housing and the FertilityCare Programme.

 

Love for Life

Love for Life is a project that supports young people and their carers in the area of relationships and
sexuality education.

Public Initiative for the Prevention of Suicide and Self-harm (PIPS)
PIPS provide support, advice and information at community level regarding suicide, self-harm, depression
