How can I get involved?

There are a number of ways to support the work of Care in Crisis.

Friends/Supporters Newsletters - receive regular updates by email with news and articles, invitations to fundraising events and information about other ways to get involved with Care in Crisis.

Prayer Information - receive a short update by email to help you pray in an informed way for the work of Care in Crisis. Click here to read more about our Ethos.

Fundraising: We are extremely grateful for the fundraising efforts of our staff, volunteers, friends and supporters. Would you like to help us with coffee mornings, bag packs and other fundraising events to support the work of Care in Crisis. You may have other ideas and we'd love to hear them. Financial Donation/Gift: Would you consider partnering with us financially? You can support Care in Crisis either by a one-off gift or through regular monthly donations. Care in Crisis is a registered charity (Charity no. XR1098). If you are a UK tax payer you can gift-aid your donation at no extra cost to you. If you wish to become one of our supporters in this way, please, either download the Becoming a Financial Supporter leaflet or request one from us. When completed just return it to us. A new way of contributing is via All you need is to create an account and choose Care in Crisis as your charity, then for every online shop you do in any one of over 2000 well known stores including Argos, Amazon and M&S, They donate a percentage to Care in Crisis. It costs you nothing and if you're a shopaholic you can really make a big difference! check out their website for more details on how to join.

Legacy (Your Will): This is an opportunity for you to continue helping others for many years to come. If this is of interest to you, please contact your solicitor to make the necessary arrangements. Please do let us know if you include Care in Crisis in your will. We appreciate you support in any of these ways or you may have ideas of your own.

Volunteer with us

In the Centre

  • Counselling - we have opportunities for qualified counsellors who are in agreement with our Christian ethos and are working towards accreditation.
  • Counselling Placements - we have a limited number of student counsellor placements each year. For further information contact
  • Receptionist - on a rota for day & evening cover.
  • General centre care - cleaning, maintenance, DIY.

Promotion & Fundraising

  • Join the Board of Trustees - especially if you have business & financial expertise and/or knowledge of the community & voluntary sector.
  • Receive our newsletters and prayer updates to keep you in touch with what we do.
  • Become a financial supporter by giving a regular monthly donation.
  • Organise fundraising events. Help out at promotion & fundraising events as a 'friend' of Care in Crisis
  • Individual, Team & Corporate Sponsorship.
