Self-Esteem & Your Identity

This just means the value you place on yourself. Everybody has self-doubts from time to time but when
we constantly put ourselves down, or let others put us down, we can develop low self-esteem.

It might be a cliché, but when God made you he broke the mould. Honestly, there has never been nor ever
will be anybody quite like you - you're an original, one of a kind. Pretty cool, so why waste your time
trying to be like everybody else? Use the time you've been given on this planet to figure out who you are
and why you're here - follow your own destiny, not someone else's, that's a dead-end. When you start
comparing yourself to other people and let's face it we all do it, it's never really a straight comparison.

Believe in yourself and all that you are, be yourself, live your own life, not someone else’s. And don't
let other people put you down either – learn to be assertive (if you don't know how, talk to someone
who does).

Be the unique person that you were created to be. Think of yourself as a little acorn which has the
potential to grow into a great big oak tree - the oak tree is inside the acorn right from the moment it is
created, but it has to be planted in the right conditions to see that potential fulfilled. Get it?
